Experience art and architecture in the heart of Anne Just's Garden
In the midst of the lush and colorful garden lies the studio where art, nature, and architecture merge. Architect Claus Bonderup built the studio for his wife, painter Anne Just. Both the interior and exterior of the building reflect their wonderful collaboration.
The studio displays numerous original works by Anne Just, bearing witness to her love for the garden, flowers, and colors.
You can also experience many of Claus Bonderup’s architectural drawings, lamps, and furniture. In addition, photographs of the Arctic Museum in Finland and the iconic summer house “Eyes in the Night” are on display.
The contrast between Claus Bonderup’s very strict formal language and Anne Just’s lush and colorful expression creates a special atmosphere. It is precisely the meeting of their two worlds where the magic arises – both in the studio and the surrounding garden.
In the studio, there is a permanent exhibition of Anne Just’s paintings and ceramics. In the center of the garden, there is a small coffee house where, during opening hours, you can buy coffee with homemade kringle.
The shop offers a wide selection of ceramics, garden items, flower posters, books, placemats, and postcards.
