The shelter site is located at Testrup Gl. Skole, where there is also a hostel that can be rented. It costs DKK 30 per person to stay overnight in the shelters – if you are 10 people or more, the price is DKK 25 per person.

The route goes over the cemetery to the ruin in Testrupgaard's garden. Over the fields, the trip goes through a moraine landscape with many small lakes and to St. Søren's holy spring. From here, the trail goes back to Testrupgaard Forest, which is a mixed forest with different tree species. The route is marked with yellow three-edged poles. There is a toilet, shower room, outdoor kitchen, fire pit and table and bench sets, which can be used.
