The forest has been there for a long time, and children have always been welcome. Now we call it children's forest, because it is really good for children - and their parents and grandparents. There are different types of forest where you can play and have fun. You have to build caves, play catch, find ants, flowers, run off the paths and eat your packed lunch in peace and quiet.
The children's forest has been created in collaboration with local institutions and volunteers and is therefore very different from the 5 other children's forests in Viborg Municipality.

children's forestThe kindergarten Sol O Mio's toilet can be used during the kindergarten's opening hours and it is possible to fetch water from the kindergarten in your own cans. You must bring your own firewood to the fire, but you are also welcome to use dry branches you find on the forest floor.
